Playa El Yaque
Playa El Yaque is the closest beach to the Airport. It is always windy in Playa El Yaque. Therefore, this is one of the world's three best beaches for practicing Windsurf and Kitesurf
There are many hotels, inns, and some great restaurants on Playa El Yaque. There are also many European tourists, except during the weekend when many locals visit the beach, especially those with small children since the beach is not very deep.
On Playa El Yaque, you can find several Surfing Schools that also offer accommodation at hotels. The only disadvantage of staying at El Yaque is that you would be very far from the rest of the island.
