Playa La Restinga
Playa de La Restinga is located just behind the lagoon that goes by the same name. After a 30 minute ride by boat, you will get to Playa La Restinga. This beach has about 20 kilometers of coast line, and joins Peninsula de Macanao with the rest of Margarita Island.
Most of the visitors go there to enjoy a lobster, or oysters, and take a walk around and bring back some shells. The beach is very beautiful to explore, 
and collect some seashells. Since thebeach is close to Laguna de La Restinga National Park, you must leave it before 4.30 p.m. On the beach, you can buy souvenirs such as shell necklaces, and strings of pearls for very reasonable prices.
